The Bahco 317 professional hacksaw combines a lightweight yet durable frame with a slim profile that improves access where conventional hacksaws are difficult to position. Supplied with a premium 300 mm (12″) Sandflex® 24 TPI bi-metal blade, the saw delivers accurate cutting performance across mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, PVC and other engineering materials. The Sandflex® blade combines a flexible alloy steel backing with hardened high-speed steel teeth to provide excellent resistance to breakage and extended cutting life.
A specially designed front grip allows the guiding hand to support the frame close to the cutting line, improving stability and cutting precision during prolonged use. The alternative 90° blade mounting position enables flush cutting against walls, panels and protruding fasteners, increasing versatility during installation and maintenance work. Its lightweight construction also reduces user fatigue while making storage and transport easier than heavier workshop hacksaw frames.
