Designed for mechanical engineers, maintenance technicians, metal fabricators and professional installers requiring accurate manual cutting of steel, aluminium, plastics and other engineering materials.
The Bahco 319 professional hacksaw is built around a rigid plastic-coated tubular steel frame that supports high blade tension for improved cutting accuracy and reduced blade deflection. The robust construction allows straight, controlled cuts through ferrous and non-ferrous metals while maintaining frame stability under demanding workshop and site conditions. The hacksaw is supplied complete with a premium 300 mm (12″) Sandflex® bi-metal blade featuring a 24 TPI tooth pitch, providing an effective balance between cutting speed and surface finish on thin and medium section materials.
The high blade tensioning mechanism maximises blade rigidity, improving cutting precision and extending blade performance during repetitive use. Alternative 55° blade mounting pins allow flush cutting where conventional hacksaw frames cannot reach, making the tool suitable for trimming protruding bolts, threaded rod and pipework close to surfaces. The ergonomic soft grip handle improves user comfort and control during prolonged cutting operations while reducing hand fatigue.
