The Makita 196696-4 LXT Power Source Kit is designed for professionals who require a dependable battery solution for everyday cordless applications. The kit includes four BL1830B 3.0Ah lithium-ion batteries, a DC18RD 240V twin-port rapid charger and a Makpac Type 3 stackable storage case. Each 3.0Ah battery provides an excellent balance of runtime, weight and portability, making the kit well suited for drill drivers, impact drivers, jigsaws, multi-tools, circular saws and other Makita 18V LXT cordless equipment.
The supplied DC18RD twin-port rapid charger charges two batteries simultaneously, reducing downtime and allowing batteries to be rotated efficiently throughout the working day. A BL1830B battery reaches a full charge in approximately 22 minutes under normal charging conditions, providing fast turnaround for continuous productivity. The Makpac Type 3 case protects the charger and batteries during transport while integrating with Makita’s interlocking storage system for organised tool management on site and in the workshop.
