High torque fastening solution with transport case for mechanical, structural and industrial applications
The Makita DTW701ZJ is a cordless impact wrench within the 18V LXT platform, engineered for high torque fastening tasks in industrial and automotive environments. It delivers up to 700 Nm of fastening torque and features a 1/2″ square drive with detent pin for secure socket retention under load. The brushless motor architecture increases efficiency, reduces heat generation and eliminates maintenance associated with carbon brushes. The tool incorporates four selectable power modes, allowing precise torque control depending on application requirements.
It operates with variable speed ranges from 0 to 2200 rpm and impact rates up to 2700 ipm, covering applications from controlled fastening to heavy-duty tightening. The integrated reaction time control offers three automatic stop modes in both forward and reverse rotation, reducing the risk of over-tightening or fastener loss. The tightening capacity ranges from M10 to M24 bolts, making it suitable for steel structures, maintenance and automotive work. Twin LED lights improve visibility, while XPT (eXtreme Protection Technology) enhances resistance to dust and moisture. The ZJ configuration includes a MAKPAC type 3 case for transport and system storage.
