The Makita DTW800RTJ combines the 18V LXT® battery platform with a high-efficiency brushless motor capable of delivering up to 800 Nm of fastening torque. Its 7/16 inch (11.1 mm) hex drive is engineered for use with large ship auger bits and heavy-duty hex accessories, making it suitable for timber construction, utility infrastructure, and structural installation work. Three electronically controlled speed settings allow the operator to match performance to demanding drilling and fastening applications.
The brushless motor design reduces maintenance requirements while improving operating efficiency and service life. An integrated LED work light increases visibility in low-light environments, while the wide hanging hook enables the tool to be suspended from scaffolding and structural members when not in use. The battery protection system automatically interrupts power when battery capacity becomes critically low. This complete kit includes two 5.0Ah LXT® batteries, a DC18RC fast charger, and a MAKPAC Case 3 for organised transport and secure storage.
