The Makita TW001GZ is built around the 40V Max XGT® battery platform and a high-efficiency brushless motor capable of delivering up to 1,800 Nm of fastening torque and 2,050 Nm of nut-busting torque. The 3/4 inch square drive is intended for heavy structural fastening applications, including large anchor bolts, plant maintenance, agricultural machinery, and commercial vehicle repair. Electronic four-stage power selection allows the operator to match output to the fastening task while maintaining control.
Advanced electronic functions include three automatic stop modes in both forward and reverse rotation, helping to prevent over-tightening and improving productivity during repetitive fastening operations. The reverse auto-stop function halts rotation once the fastener has loosened sufficiently.
