The Makita TW001GZ01 combines the performance of the 40V Max XGT® platform with a high-efficiency brushless motor delivering up to 1,800 Nm of fastening torque and 2,050 Nm of nut-busting torque. The 3/4 inch square drive is designed for heavy-duty fastening applications involving structural bolts, commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery, and industrial equipment. Four electronically controlled power stages allow the operator to match output to the specific fastening task.
The impact wrench features three automatic stop modes in both forward and reverse rotation to improve fastening consistency and reduce the risk of over-tightening. Reverse Auto Stop halts the tool once the fastener has loosened sufficiently, helping to prevent accidental loss of hardware. Twin LED work lights with pre-glow and afterglow functions improve visibility in confined work areas, while XPT (eXtreme Protection Technology) enhances resistance to dust and moisture.
