The Makita DDA350ZJ is a cordless angle drill within the 18V LXT platform, designed for drilling applications in confined environments where standard drill drivers cannot operate. It incorporates a 4-pole motor architecture that improves power-to-weight ratio while maintaining a compact body. The right-angle head allows access between structural elements such as joists and studs, making it suitable for electrical, plumbing and HVAC installation work.
The tool operates with a variable speed range of 0 to 1800 rpm, enabling controlled drilling across wood and light metal applications. It features a 10 mm (3/8″) chuck capacity and an overall length of approximately 314 mm, improving maneuverability in tight areas. The large paddle switch enhances handling in awkward positions, while the integrated LED light with afterglow function improves visibility during operation. The aluminium gear housing increases durability under continuous use. The ZJ configuration includes a MAKPAC type 2 case for transport, storage and compatibility with Makita stacking systems.
