The Milwaukee M18 FHX-552X is a professional 18V SDS-Plus rotary hammer kit designed for contractors, electricians, HVAC installers, plumbers and maintenance engineers who require a high-performance cordless drilling solution. Powered by Milwaukee’s POWERSTATE™ brushless motor, REDLITHIUM™ HIGH OUTPUT™ batteries and REDLINK PLUS™ electronics, the tool delivers 2.5 J of impact energy and a maximum percussion rate of 4,800 bpm. With a concrete drilling capacity of 26 mm, it is suitable for anchor installation, cable tray fixing, pipe support systems and structural fastening applications where mobility and productivity are critical.

The FIXTEC™ quick-change chuck system enables rapid switching between SDS-Plus accessories and a 13 mm metal chuck, allowing both hammer drilling and conventional drilling operations from a single machine. AUTOSTOP™ technology helps protect the user during bind-up situations by stopping the tool if excessive rotational movement is detected. An all-metal gear case improves durability under continuous heavy-duty use, while four operating modes provide rotary hammer drilling, rotation-only drilling, hammer-only chiselling and variolock chisel positioning. Milwaukee states that the tool can drill up to 125 holes measuring 10 x 50 mm on a single M18 HIGH OUTPUT™ 5.5 Ah battery charge, making the supplied dual-battery kit particularly suitable for full-day site work.
