The Makita UC029GZ02 is a compact 40Vmax XGT pruning saw designed for professional pruning, branch removal, tree maintenance and landscaping work. Powered by a high-efficiency Brushless motor, the saw delivers a chain speed of 8.0 m/s and combines compact dimensions with precise cutting control. The 150 mm guide bar provides excellent manoeuvrability when working in dense vegetation, orchards, vineyards and confined pruning environments where larger chainsaws are less practical.

Automatic chain lubrication continuously supplies oil to the cutting chain, helping reduce wear and maintain cutting efficiency. eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) improves resistance against dust and moisture for operation in demanding outdoor environments, while the electric brake rapidly stops chain movement when the trigger is released. The GZ02 configuration includes a Makpac Type 4 storage case and is supplied as a body-only machine without battery or charger for users already invested in the Makita XGT platform.
