The DeWalt DCGG581P1-GB grease gun is designed for high-pressure lubrication work where manual grease application cannot maintain consistent flow or operating efficiency. Its XR 18V motor generates up to 690 bar maximum pressure, allowing the unit to force grease through blocked fittings, hardened lubrication points and heavily loaded bearing assemblies. The 2-speed transmission enables switching between controlled high-pressure delivery and higher flow output up to 255 ml/min, improving servicing speed across multiple lubrication points.
The grease gun supports both 400 g grease cartridges and 450 g bulk-fill operation for workshop and field servicing flexibility. A 1.2 metre reinforced flexible hose improves access to recessed grease nipples commonly found on agricultural equipment, articulated machinery and industrial drivetrains. The integrated purge valve removes trapped air from the pump chamber to maintain uninterrupted grease flow, while the onboard LED light improves visibility during underbody maintenance and low-light workshop operation.
