The DeWalt DCG404D2B is an 18V XR Compact cordless angle grinder kit built around the DCG404-series brushless grinder platform. The 125 mm machine delivers up to 760 MWO with an 11,000 rpm no-load speed for cutting steel sections, threaded rod and sheet material as well as grinding, deburring and weld dressing. Its compact architecture reduces tool bulk for improved access around fabricated assemblies and confined installation areas, while the M14 spindle supports compatible professional 125 mm grinding and cutting accessories.

Electronic brake and clutch systems provide additional control during demanding cutting and grinding operations. The electronic brake rapidly stops the rotating accessory after the paddle trigger is released, while the electronic clutch reduces reaction if the disc pinches or stalls. Electronic soft start controls initial acceleration and mesh debris screens help restrict abrasive particles entering the motor and electronics. This DCG404D2B kit adds two 18V XR 2.0 Ah batteries, a compatible charger and a 15 inch tool bag, creating a self-contained configuration rather than requiring an existing DeWalt battery system.
