The Milwaukee M12FDGA2-522B is a second-generation M12 FUEL angled die grinder developed for professional fabrication, maintenance and metalworking environments. Powered by a POWERSTATE brushless motor, the grinder delivers significantly higher performance than the previous generation while maintaining a compact overall length of only 119 mm. The angled head design provides improved access when working inside fabricated structures, machinery assemblies, steelwork, pipe installations and confined areas where straight die grinders can be difficult to position. Suitable for carbide burrs, flap wheels, mounted points and abrasive accessories up to 76 mm diameter, the tool is designed for precision material removal, weld preparation and finishing operations.
A variable speed range from 3,000 to 20,000 rpm combined with a 4-step speed selection system allows users to match accessory speed to the material being processed. This makes the grinder particularly effective when working with stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel and specialist finishing applications. The spindle lock simplifies accessory changes by eliminating the need for two spanners, while universal compatibility with both 6 mm and 8 mm accessories increases application flexibility. A dual-action safety trigger helps prevent accidental start-up and the integrated LED work light improves visibility in low-light environments. This 522B kit includes one M12 HB2.5 HIGH OUTPUT battery, one M12 HB5 HIGH OUTPUT battery, a C12 C charger and a Milwaukee soft storage bag.
