The M12 FMT-422X is part of the Milwaukee M12 FUEL platform and features a POWERSTATE brushless motor engineered to maintain cutting speed under load in hardwood, softwood, drywall and PVC. The variable speed range of 10,000 to 20,000 oscillations per minute enables controlled plunge cutting, flush cutting and sanding with proper heat and material management.
The 1.8° left/right oscillation angle increases material removal rate compared to lower-angle models, improving productivity in repetitive applications. The FIXTEC tool-free blade change system allows rapid accessory swaps, and the supplied universal adaptor ensures compatibility with most major competitor blades. REDLINK PLUS electronic intelligence provides advanced digital overload protection for both tool and battery while optimizing performance under load.
