The Makita DTM53Z is a cordless oscillating multi-tool powered by the 18V LXT® battery platform and equipped with a high-efficiency brushless motor. Delivering an adjustable oscillation rate from 6,000 to 20,000 oscillations per minute, the tool is suitable for plunge cutting, flush cutting, grout removal, surface preparation, sanding, and trimming applications. The oscillation angle of 3.2° (2 x 1.6°) provides an effective balance between cutting speed and control across a wide range of materials.
The tool-free accessory change system enables rapid blade installation and removal without additional tools, reducing downtime when switching between applications.
