The Makita DCO181RTJ is a professional cordless drywall cutter powered by the Makita 18V LXT battery platform and driven by a high-efficiency brushless motor delivering a no-load speed of 32,000 rpm. It provides fast, clean and accurate cutting of plasterboard for electrical back boxes, recessed lighting, ventilation openings and other service penetrations. Its compact, lightweight construction offers excellent manoeuvrability and control during overhead work while reducing operator fatigue throughout extended use.
Integrated Auto-start Wireless System (AWS) uses Bluetooth technology to communicate with compatible Makita dust extractors, automatically activating and stopping extraction whenever the tool is operated to maintain a cleaner working environment. Additional professional features include Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) for improved resistance to dust and moisture, an electric brake, LED work light, lock-on slide switch and Makita battery protection circuitry. This RTJ kit includes two 18V 5.0Ah LXT lithium-ion batteries, a rapid charger and a Makpac Type 2 carry case, delivering extended runtime and a complete ready-to-work professional package.
