The DeWALT DCS520NT is a professional 54V XR FLEXVOLT cordless plunge saw engineered to deliver corded-level performance for demanding woodworking applications. Equipped with a high-efficiency Brushless motor and a 165 mm, 42-tooth precision saw blade, the saw provides clean, accurate cuts with minimal breakout in laminates, veneered panels and sheet materials. Variable speed control from 2,500 to 4,200 rpm enables the cutting speed to be matched to the material, while full-wave electronics maintain constant blade speed under load for consistent cutting performance.
The plunge mechanism incorporates an anti-kickback function that prevents rearward movement on the guide rail during plunge cuts, improving operator control and safety. Parallel plunge action allows the user to maintain a constant hand position throughout the cut, while precise rail adjustment ensures accurate guidance when used with compatible DeWALT guide rails. The enclosed blade guard provides up to 90% dust extraction efficiency and features direct compatibility with the DeWALT AirLock dust extraction system. Integrated Wireless Tool Control technology allows automatic activation of compatible DeWALT dust extractors without a cord connection. The NT version is supplied as a body only machine complete with a heavy-duty TSTAK VI storage case.
